Intro to Horses For All . . .



 
  • Is a lecture-style class for those who are interested in learning more about horses in a classroom environment. This 90 minute, 6-session class is presented here on the farm in the comfort of our mobile classroom building. Ideal for homeschool class, 4H type groups, or anyone interested in learning more about these amazing animals!

  • Covers a variety of topics over the course of once weekly classes: Horses through History and Literature, Horse Breeds/Colors/Anatomy, Horse Behavior and Emotional Impact, Horse Diseases/Vet Care/Farrier, Riding Disciplines, Horse Care (including a Meet and Greet to meet the horses)

  • Includes multimedia presentations, fun activities, and discussion time. Talk with others about horses! An option to pay class by class or pay for the entire 6 sessions up front for a discount.

  • Will be offered as demand is there. Potential start date will be posted and interested parties can sign up. Minimum number of student interest to hold the class is two and maximum in person students is 20.
